About Eons Expos, LLLP

Denver Coliseum ShowIn 1999 Lowell and his active-duty USAF wife were stationed at Yokota USAF base in Japan. With China so close by, Lowell made many weekend trips there to acquire fossils and subsequently sell them on eBay. The endeavor was successful enough to allow him to quit his corporate job and be a full-time fossil dealer. By 2003 they were stationed in Germany and he was selling at the major European shows. They returned to the USA in 2006 and he started doing US shows. In contrast to Japanese and European shows, he felt that American shows were not measuring up.

So along with his little sister Christine they decided to start their own show in Denver in 2009. The Coliseum Show grew in each subsequent year until becoming Denver’s largest by its 3rd year in 2011. It is now the nation’s largest mineral, fossil, gem & jewelry show as measured by sales area and by table count.

With Christine dedicated to recruiting dealers, and Lowell busy with marketing and operations, they asked their brother Russell to join the team so they could leverage their Denver success and begin a new show in Tucson in 2010. In 2016 the 22nd Street Show became the most-attended show in the United States with 41,000 visitors.

22nd Street Show, TucsonAfter their Denver and Tucson successes, the team added Heather to their roster and started a new show in New Jersey in 2012. After just three years the NY / NJ Show became the largest and most-attended mineral, fossil, gem & jewelry show east of the Mississippi River.

Our vision is to position the three shows as not just the largest and the busiest in the USA, but as the shows offering the “best deal” for our dealers. This will be achieved by continuing with the same philosophy as from the beginning:  advertise on a massive scale, offer exhibitors the lowest booth fee (measured as “cost per customer”), have the largest / best venue, and invest all profits back into the shows.

We thank you for your interest in our events. If you are a dealer we encourage you to give us a try. Come grow with us.
